The SPFL Betting Preview: Week Two

First of all up, I am taking a punt on Greenock Morton to beat Falkirk at 7/4. Falkirk are shorter in the league betting and have good talent throughout the squad, but I am fearful that we are underestimating Morton and want to be on at a decent price if we are.

Next up I am backing Dunfermline Athletic to beat Arbroath at 7/10. These are must win games if Dunfermline are going to end up with the second place spot, and I don’t think they will slip up. Add in the fact that Arbroath seem to be in decline – they’ve lost their first three matches in all competitions – and it looks a good price in the circumstances.

Finally, in League 2 I am backing Berwick Rangers to beat Queens Park at 21/20. Both had bad results last weekend, but home advantage should be enough to help the Wee Gers pick up the three points, particularly when considering how threadbare the Queens Park squad looks at the moment after the summer’s exodus.

This week’s McBookie treble: wins for Greenock Morton, Dunfermline Athletic and Berwick Rangers provide £85.84 profit for a £10 stake.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
