First up, I am backing Dundee to beat Raith Rovers at 29/20. Dundee haven’t been overly impressive so far this season, but if they are going to bounce straight back up, then these are the games they need to win. John Brown might begin to feel some pressure if his team merely keep scraping results, so this is an important fixture.
In League 1, I am backing Ayr United to beat Stranraer at odds of 21/20. It has been a great start to the season and in Michael Moffat and Craig Malcolm they have one of the best strike partnerships in the league. I fully expect them to make it three wins out of three and look a great shout for a play-off spot, even this early in the season.
Finally, in League 2, we have Berwick Rangers to beat Montrose at 7/5. The Wee Gers did me a favour last weekend and are up against a Montrose squad that looks very threadbare. With a place up for grabs against Rangers in the Challenge Cup, the squad will be looking to impress and therefore should pick up all three points.
This week’s McBookie treble: wins for Dundee, Ayr United and Berwick Rangers provide £110.54 profit for a £10 stake
