The SPFL Betting Preview: Week Seven

So here we go.

In the Championship, I am going for Livingston to beat Cowdenbeath at even money. John McGlynn will have had a longer period to get his message across to the players and I reckon they can build on their good win over Dumbarton last weekend.

In League One, I am taking a punt by backing Ayr United to beat Dunfermline Athletic at 16/5. Draws have been Ayr’s undoing so far this season, but amazingly, they are still unbeaten. There is not much between the two teams, so to get such a big price is a bonus.

Finally, in League Two, I am backing Berwick Rangers at 11/10 to beat East Stirlingshire. This is a top of the table clash and while the Shire’s bubble hasn’t exactly burst, they’ve lost heavily to Peterhead and Albion Rovers in recent weeks. Berwick could easily inflict their third consecutive home defeat.

This week’s McBookie treble gives a handsome £166.40 profit for a £10 stake.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
