In the Championship, I am backing Dumbarton to beat Cowdenbeath at 7/4. They had a difficult start against Hamilton Academical, Falkirk and Greenock Morton but they’ve done well to pick up four points. They have also added well recently in Colin Nish and Hugh Murray – they could even be challenging for a play-off spot.
With League One, I am backing Ayr United to beat Airdrieonians at 5/6. They let me down last week but, at the price, I think they are worth another chance. They were unlucky to lose to Falkirk in midweek and should take great confidence from that match.
Finally, in League Two, I am going for Albion Rovers at 13/20 against Montrose. It isn’t a big price, but I have been very impressed with Rovers this season and we now make them favourites to win the league. Only a last minute goal prevented them keeping a 100% record and I can’t see them slipping up here.
This week’s McBookie treble: wins for Dumbarton, Ayr United and Albion Rovers gives £73.19 profit for a £10 stake.
