The SPFL Betting Preview: Week 30

Alright friends, let’s get piled into another tasty wee treble.

First up, I’m taking Falkirk to beat Alloa Athletic at 3/4. Falkirk have fallen to 8/1 to win the Championship title and if they’ve got any aspirations of finishing in first place, this is a match they’ll have to win. The Bairns are struggling to score lately but a shade of odds-on seems a fair price.

Nex up, I fancy Stenhousemuir to beat Stranraer at 13/5. The Warriors are on a good unbeaten run just now and even although a lot of their recent games have ended in draws, I reckon they’ll win tomorrow (but they do look a little overpriced). Stranraer lost again at the weekend and I have to back against them this time.

Last of all, I’m taking a punt on Elgin City to beat Albion Rovers at 11/4. This is based on nothing more than a hunch that the Rovers will be suffering a Scottish Cup hangover. Elgin are a massive price here too.

This week’s treble: wins for Falkirk, Stenhousemuir and Elgin returns £226 for a tenner stake. Not bad, not bad.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
