The SPFL Betting Preview: Week 28

Hi! While the Scottish Cup quarter-finals take place, there are still plenty of league fixtures to find value in the betting market for this week’s treble. So tuck in!

First up, I’m backing Hamilton Academical to beat Queen of the South at 6/4. It looked as though the Accies were wilting under the pressure of a title challenge at the turn of the year, but they are very much back on track with three consecutive wins. While it won’t be easy against Queens, they should have enough firepower to keep the pressure on Dundee.

Next, I’m going for Arbroath to beat East Fife at 6/5. This is a must win game for Paul Sheerin’s men and they will be confident after last week’s great result against Brechin City. East Fife were unlucky not to pick up a point against Rangers but they lacked any real attacking threat and I think that will be their undoing again tomorrow.

Finally, I’m backing Stirling Albion to beat East Stirlingshire at 2/1. There is nothing between the two sides, despite the history between the teams, so it doesn’t make any sense for the price to be so big. Stirling are unbeaten in their last three games and this is definitely a value bet.

This week’s treble on wins for Hamilton Academical, Arbroath and Stirling Albion pays out £151 for a £10 stake.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
