Alright, lads? Ready to rumble?
First up, I’m going for Falkirk to beat Raith Rovers at 13/10. Although they’ve won just one of their last four games, Falkirk are still very much in the title fight. Rovers, on the other hand, have no gone nine games without a win and must be looking over their shoulders at the ever-improving Cowdenbeath. I do worry that Falkirk lack goals, but I reckon they should be too strong for the Rovers.
Next up, I fancy Forfar Athletic to beat Stenhousemuir at 7/4. Stenny got a fantastic result against Rangers last weekend but they were terrible against Airdrieonians in midweek, and were very lucky to get out of there with a point. Both matches will have surely taken their toll on the Warriors and I think it should play right into Forfar’s hands.
Finally, I’m backing Stirling Albion to beat Queen’s Park at 4/5. Albion showed great spirit to come from behind to beat Elgin City at the weekend and they’ll know how important it is to take another three points tomorrow. Things couldn’t be tighter in the race for the play-off places, and every point has become crucial. QP played in midweek and Albion will be the fresher of the two teams.
This week’s McBookie treble: wins for Falkirk, Forfar Athletic and Stirling Albion returns a handsome £103 for a £10 steak.
