The SPFL Betting Preview: Week 23

Alright lads, I hope you’re all well. This week, let’s start with Livingston to beat Queen of the South at 11/8. Queens had a difficult game against Greenock Morton on Wednesday evening and had to play most of it with nine men. Losing Chris Higgins and Iain Russell will limit their options and although Livi have recently moved on Stefan Scougall and Coll Donaldson, I think this is a match they can still win.

Let’s drop into League 1. I fancy East Fife to beat Dunfermline Athletic at 23/10. Derbies are always unpredictable and the Pars look like they’re going through a sticky pitch at the moment. East Fife won the last meeting between the sides and I’ve got a feeling they can do it again tomorrow. They’re certainly worth the bet at the price.

Finally, let’s go for Berwick Rangers to beat Clyde at 29/20. We’ve seen a lot of money placed on Berwick to win the league, and let me tell you, this recent upturn in form is not what we want to see! It’ll be a big ask for them to catch up with and overtake Peterhead, but they certainly have the ability to reach the play-off places. It’s telling that they’re big favourites, despite currently sitting eight points behind the Bully Wee in the league.

This week’s McBookie treble: wins for Livingston, East Fife and Berwick Rangers could win you a sultry £182 from a simple tenner.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
