The SPFL Betting Preview: Week 22

Right. Put on your stockings, baby, cos the night’s getting cold. Then stick a wee acca on.

First up, I like the look of Greenock Morton to beat Queen of the South at 14/5. They now have Cowdenbeath in their sights and proved last week that they are capable of beating the higher placed teams. A lack of firepower is the only worry while Garry O’Connor finds his fitness, but hopefully they will sneak a win.

Next, I am going for Forfar Athletic to beat East Fife at 5/4. The teams have already played each other four times this season, with the Loons winning all every time. The Loons’ performance against Rangers earlier ion the week was highly commendable and Dick Campbell will want to make sure they get back to winning ways.

Finally, I am going for Berwick Rangers to beat Albion Rovers at 15/8. Colin Cameron looks to have been an excellent appointment so far, and could still be one of the best midfielders in the league at 41 years old. Albion Rovers are a decent side but the value is definitely with the Border team.

This week’s McBookie treble offers a plump £235 profit for a £10 stake on Greenock Morton, Forfar Athletic and Berwick Rangers.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
