The SPFL Betting Preview: Week 19

Some of the fixture card has already played out but there is still plenty value in the market for Saturday’s matches.

First of all, there’s Greenock Morton to beat Dumbarton at 9/4. Kenny Shiels has had another week to work with the team and has made a couple of notable signings already. It will still be a big ask to have his club stay up in the circumstances, but these are the games they will need to win and are a good price to do so.

Next, I am backing Clyde to beat Queens Park at 3/5. Clyde are still very much in the hunt to win the league despite drawing their last two games and might represent Peterhead’s strongest challenge for the title. Meanwhile,  Queens Park continue to be in disarray and this should be a straight forward win for Jim Duffy’s men.

Finally, I am sticking to League Two and going for Stirling Albion to beat East Stirlingshire at Evs. As we know, this league is so tight that despite no wins in three games, if Stirling win their game in hand then they go back into the play-off spots. A win here will also see them leapfrog the Shire and I can think that is exactly what they will do.

The first treble tip of the new year, with wins for Greenock Morton, Clyde and Stirling Albion can yield as much as £94 profit for a £10 stake.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
