The SPFL Betting Preview: Week 15

Oh, hello! I didn’t see you there. In the Championship, I am going for Raith Rovers to beat Falkirk at 23/10. There is almost nothing between the two sides in terms of quality of the team and their league placings, so there is no way that Rovers should be such a big price. They beat Dundee away from home in the cup last week and this could be a very similar game. Grant Murray signed a new contract in midweek and his side can reward him with a win.

In League 1 I am going for Brechin City to beat Airdrieonians at 8/13. Brechin were well backed to finish second in the league but have so far failed to live up to expectations. However, it is still six games since Airdrie picked up a point and this is a good opportunity for Ray McKinnon’s men to get back on track.

Last of all in League 2, I am backing Clyde to beat Peterhead at 11/5. There is no denying that the Aberdeenshire side have hit some great form, but the table doesn’t lie and Clyde, despite a slow start, have shown that they might have to be considered as title contenders. The price means that the market is still underestimating them and I think the price is too big to turn down.

This week’s McBookie treble: wins for Raith Rovers, Brechin City and Clyde gives £160 profit for a £10 stake. Teapot.

Tell Him He's Pelé

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
