The SPFL Betting Preview: Week 13

They might have let me down last week but I am confident Raith Rovers will do me a turn on Saturday against Alloa Athletic at 6/4. It was always a risk taking the Rovers, and their indiscipline certainly doesn’t help matters. It seems to be a major problem and it is something that manager Grant Murray will need to look at. Nevertheless, if they keep 11 men on the park they should win.

Next I am going for Dunfermline Athletic to beat Airdrieonians at 5/6. The Pars are favourites for second place and whilst I am still worried that they have a number of defensive issues, there is no denying their attacking threat. Hopefully it will be a high scoring game with the Fife side coming out on top.

Finally, I am going for Elgin City to beat Clyde at 8/5. In their last two matches, Elgin have played the two favourites for the league (Annan Athletic and Peterhead) and although they lost both, they did score four goals which suggests they aren’t playing too badly. At the back they have been woeful but if they can keep it tight they represent good value.

This week’s McBookie treble: wins for Raith Rovers, Dunfermline Atheltic and Elgin City will yield a smashing £110 for a £10 stake.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
