In the Championship, the value bet needs to be Raith Rovers at 31/10 to beat Dundee. The Kirkcaldy side are two points better off than their opponents and although Dundee remain favourites for the league, I am not sure they are that much better. The market has always overestimated Dundee’s chances so far this season and this could be another example.
In League 1, I am following suit by backing Stenhousemuir at 3/1 to beat Dunfermline. Just one point separates them, so the difference in price is quite remarkable. The Pars have lost four league games this season and have been quite inconsistent – the midweek game against Rangers won’t help their small squad.
Finally, in League 2 I am going for Clyde to beat Queens Park at 7/4. Plenty people expected Clyde to lose in the cup to Brora Rangers last week but they put in a fantastic performance. Queens Park are unbeaten in three games so do look like they have turned the corner somewhat, but I still fancy Jim Duffy’s men to pick up the three points.
This week’s McBookie treble: wins for Raith Rovers, Stenhousemuir and Clyde together provide a whopping £440 profit for a £10 stake!
