Last week, I was tempted to tip up my three selections on the Draw No Bet market… But I got a little greedy and went for the wins. We certainly got a run for our money, but I still ended up with a losing bet.
Let’s focus on the weekend’s games. First up, I’m going for Dundee to beat Livingstone at evens. The Dark Blues have finally found their feet in the league and have won four games on the bounce. Livi have improved under John McGlynn, but I’d still expect a win for Dundee.
In League 1, I’m going for Ayr United to beat Airdrieonians at 7/5. The Honest Men are in good form and are certainly contenders for finish second. The Diamonds new manager Gary Bollan will have a big job on his hands but won’t have a chance to incorporate his ideas just yet – Paul Lovering takes charge on Saturday while Bollan will watch on.
Finally, I’m backing Albion Rovers to beat Queen’s Park at 21/20 in League 2. The division is unbelievably tight this year – only five points separate first and ninth. Any team is capable of beating anybody else, so it’s difficult to find winners. That said, the Rovers will be pushing for the title come May so the odds against is pretty decent value considering they’re playing the league’s bottom team.
This week’s McBookie treble gives a very reasonable £93.20 profit for a £10 stake.
