AFTER the disastrous international break, it’s good to get back to domestic action. However, if you still have faith in Craig Levein, then you can get 200/1 that Scotland can qualify for the World Cup in Brazil – this is bigger than the 125/1 on offer for Stranraer to win Division Two, which gives you some idea of our chances.
First up, I am giving Raith Rovers one more chance against Cowdenbeath at odds of 7/5. They’ve been blowing hot and cold so far this season so hopefully I’ll catch them on a good day. They should be well up for the derby and the extra week’s rest should stand them in good stead.
Next up I am backing Arbroath to beat Albion Rovers at 21/20. Paul Sheerin’s men have saved their best performances for home games, but I think they should be too strong for Rovers and, at odds against, look good value.
Finally, in Division Three, I am on Berwick Rangers to beat Clyde at odds of 4/5. Clyde had a difficult game in midweek against Elgin and although they came away with a creditable point I think we may see some weary legs come the second half.
This week’s McBookie treble: Raith Rovers, Arbroath and Berwick Rangers offer £78.56 profit for a £10 stake.
