This week, I am backing Cowdenbeath to beat Falkirk at 3/1. The Bairns are on a good run, having won three in succession for the second time since the beginning of February. They have also just appointed rookie manager Gary Holt to replace Steven Pressley, but I think Cowdenbeath have been underestimated. Falkirk might have their eyes on the cup semi-final to come, so betting against them is at least logical.
In the Second Division, I am backing Brechin to beat Stranraer at 10/11. City are just three points behind Alloa with three games in hand, so although this result isn’t make-or-break, they should be too strong to beat Stranraer.
Lastly, in Division Three I am going for Stirling to beat Montrose at 13/5. Stirling are the form team in the Division and whilst Montrose are the most likely winners, there is no way the Binos should be such a big price. I certainly think we will get a run for our money
This week’s McBookie treble gives a whopping £264 profit for a £10 stake on wins for Cowdenbeath, Brechin City and Stirling Albion.
