SFL Betting Preview: Week 28

AFTER two winning weeks my run came to a shuddering halt when Montrose were hammered by Berwick Rangers. Not spotting that the game kicked off early, the treble was down before the other two games had even started.

In the First Division, I am backing Raith Rovers to beat Dunfermline at 13/10. The off-field activity continues to haunt the Pars and they could only scrape a draw against Airdrie last week. A Fife derby is the last game that they would want at this difficult time and although there is a possibility that it might be the last derby of its kind,

In the Second Division, I have Ayr United to beat Stranraer at 8/11. The Honest Men have lost their last two games but have been playing better football and should be too strong for Stranraer.

Finally, in Division Three, I am going for Berwick Rangers to beat East Stirlingshire at 6/5. They had a great result against Queen’s Park during the week and have a chance to cement their playoff spot. The Shire will be embarrassed after their 9-1 defeat last weekend but another defeat is on the cards.

This week’s McBookie Treble: Rovers, United and ‘Rangers give £77.40 profit for a £10 stake.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.

I’d be amazed if we beat the Pars. We’ve been playing poor as of recent and they’ve had our number so far this season in each of the games. While they’re missing some key players, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Pars came away with the win.
