WE are looking for a hat-trick of winning tips after a great comeback from Montrose gave a bumper pay-day last week.
First up, I am backing Morton to beat Falkirk at 8/11. I was very surprised that the Ton slipped up in midweek against Hamilton and this is a must win game to prove they are real title contenders. Falkirk’s preparations won’t have gone great if Steven Pressley has been in discussions with Coventry, so they could be there for the taking.
In the Second Division, I am taking a punt on Albion Rovers to beat Stranraer at 10/3. Although Stranraer have kept all their best form for home games, this is still bottom v second bottom and I don’t think there should be such a difference in price. Hopefully I have found the value.
Finally, in the Third Division, I am backing Montrose to beat Berwick at 6/4. It seems strange that Montrose are the outsiders for the game, especially after their excellent win over Queens Park last weekend. Berwick are still in the play-off hunt but are too inconsistent for me and I am happy to take them on.
This week’s McBookie treble gives a return of £177.12 profit for a £10 stake for Greenock Morton, Albion Rovers and Montrose.
