SFL Betting Preview: Week 26

IT WAS another quiet week in Scottish football. From John Brown being named as the manager of Dundee through to the sacking of Gareth Evans at Livingston, it has certainly been an interesting seven days.

Thankfully for me I managed to get a double up last week to get back to winning ways.

For this week, I am backing Partick Thistle to beat Dunfermline at 13/10. Things have got even worse for the Pars off the pitch since they lost to Morton and if the players were struggling to keep their minds on the job then, it will be even more difficult now. Thistle got lucky during the week thanks to the fog but can get back to winning ways and keep the pressure on Morton at the top.

In the Second Division, I am backing Forfar to beat Stranraer at 4/6. Dick Campbell’s men keep all their good form for Station Park and, after a convincing win over Albion in midweek, they will be confident of picking up another three points.

Finally, in Division Three I am taking a punt on Montrose to beat Queens Park at 13/5. Montrose are Queens Park nearest challengers and, whilst the Spiders are in good form, on their day Montrose should be able to compete with them. At the price it is worth the risk.

This week’s McBookie Treble: Partick Thistle, Forfar and Montrose give a bumper £128 Profit for a £10 stake.

Tell Him He's Pelé

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
