SFL Betting Preview: Week 24

The game of the day is, without a doubt, the top of the table clash between Greenock Morton and Patrick Thistle. It is sure to have a massive bearing on the title and I am backing Thistle to come out on top at 7/4. Thistle haven’t managed to play since Jackie McNamara left for Dundee Utd but I think that will be have a positive, rather than negative effect. There are also suggestions that Steven Lawless could be back in the squad.

In the Second Division, I am backing Ayr Utd to beat Albion Rovers at 8/13. Ayr need to start picking up points to pull away from the play-off spot and showed good signs against Alloa last week. Liam Buchanan will certainly score goals in this division and could be the difference.

Finally, in the Third Division, I am backing Annan Athletic to beat East Stirling also at 8/13. They had a bad result against Elgin last time out but performed well against Peterhead and Queen Park previously. That sort of form should be enough to pick up three points

This week’s McBookie Treble: Thistle, Ayr and Annan deliver £61.76 profit for a £10 stake.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
