SFL Betting Preview: Week 21

With the possibility of reconstruction taking place next season, betting on promotion and relegation is no longer possible. However, we have released prices on which team will finish bottom in each division. Based on our prices, the three teams that will be finishing last are, Airdrie, Albion Rovers and Stirling Albion. Ian Murray has worked wonders at Dumbarton and we actually make them a bigger price than Cowdenbeath to finish bottom of the pile.

For my treble this week I am actually backing Dumbarton to beat Hamilton at odds of 5/2. That is sure to be a popular bet as it does look a bit on the big side. Ian Murray is working wonders and has made some good signings. He might even start playing himself and I am sure he can still do a job at this level

In the Second Division I am going for Stenhousmuir to beat Albion Rovers at 5/4. Stenny are just four points outside the play-off spot and will see this as a great opportunity to create a bigger gap from the bottom. Their biggest problem this year has been too many draws so hopefully the addition of Mark Corcoran to the squad will help them secure three points.

Finally, I am going for Berwick Rangers to beat Stirling Albion at 4/5. The two games between these teams earlier in the season produced 14 goals so this game could go either way. However, Berwick have only lost one game at home whilst Stirling are yet to win away. That is enough to convince me that the home team will pick up all three points

This week’s McBookie Treble: Dumbarton, Stenhousemuir and Berwick Rangers offer £131 profit for a £10 stake.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
