IT is going to be very difficult to find three games that beat the weather this weekend, but I will give it a go, and hopefully at the same time, find this week’s winning treble.
The race for the First Division is really heating up and Morton are now the 5/2 second favourites. Partick Thistle, who were odds on just a few weeks ago, are now 11/10. Dunfermline have been pushed out to 3/1.
Out of the three teams, Greenock Morton have the hardest game and I am actually taking Livingston to beat them at 13/5. Whilst Morton have the experience, Livi are starting to play some really good football and can easily cause an upset.
In the Second Division, I am backing Brechin City to beat Albion Rovers at odds of 1/2. With the exception of Queen of the South, Brechin are the form team in the league and have the firepower to beat Albion.
Finally, I am backing Annan Athletic to beat Stirling Albion at 7/5. This will be Jim Chapman’s first game in charge so the players will be out to impress whilst the signing of David Hopkirk from Queen of the South is a fantastic piece of business. He is too good for this level and should get plenty of goals
This week’s McBookie Treble: Morton, Brechin and Annan combined give £119 profit for a £10 stake
