The winter shut-down in the SPL means it is the SFL that takes centre stage in Scotland. After a losing end to the year, I hope to start 2013 with a bang.
I am on Greenock Morton at 4/5 to beat Cowdenbeath. They will be furious with their performance against Dumbarton and there is no way they can play as badly two games on the bounce.
Next up, I am backing East Fife to beat Albion Rovers at 8/11. I thought East Fife were going to come in for me against Forfar last time out, but, they managed to let a 2-0 lead slip. However, I will put that down to them having a man sent off – I am confident they will get back to winning ways.
Finally, in the Third Division, I am backing Berwick Rangers to beat East Stirlingshire at 4/6. Every time I have backed Berwick this season, they have let me down, but they will be buoyed after a good win over Montrose. Home advantage should see them pick up all three points.
The McBookie Treble: Morton, East Fife and Berwick returns a £41.82 profit for a £10 stake.
