THE banker of the day has to be Partick Thistle against Airdrie at 1/2. It is a short price, but, after their defeat against Morton, the players will know the importance of this game. Airdrie are in free fall and only Dumbarton will save them from automatic relegation
In the Second Division, the punt is on East Fife, at 2/1, away to Forfar. Billy Brown continues to do good things with the Fifers and they are now just outside the play-off spots. They have managed to sign Bobby Barr on a permanent deal and he will be eager to impress.
Finally, in the Third Division I am backing Elgin City to beat Annan Athletic at 11/10. It is going to be a long journey for the Moray side, but they put in a spirited performance against Rangers last time out and are currently ‘the best of the rest’ in the league. Hopefully they will prove me right
