Episode 27: Paddy Boyle (Part One)

Former Ayr United and Airdrieonians captain Paddy Boyle is the latest guest on the Pelé Podcast. The full-back joins Craig G Telfer to look back over the highs and lows of his career so far.

Paddy starts by discussing his recent move to Peterhead before jumping back 13 years to his spell in Everton’s youth academy. He touches on his run-in with big Duncan Ferguson, featuring on the bench in an FA Cup tie against Chelsea, and his loan spells at Norwich City and Crewe Alexandra.

The 31 year old then looks back at his thoroughly enjoyable spell in part-time football with Dumbarton before discussing his time at Partick Thistle. He then finishes by discussing a difficult two seasons at Dunfermline Athletic.

Paddy is on great form here and this podcast should have a wide appeal to many fans.

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
