Rory McAllister is something of a phenomenon. His goal-scoring record is unarguably one of the finest in the lower leagues – in just under 180 league games, he has netted around 120 times. It is an astonishing achievement.
The 27-year-old Peterhead striker joins Craig G Telfer on the Pelé Podcast to looks back on his career to date. McAllister begins by talking about his formative years at Aberdeen and Inverness Caledonian Thistle before turning his attention to his time at Brechin City. He reflects on his two years at Glebe Park and his personal successes under Jim Duffy and then Jim Weir.
McAllister then analyses his surprising transfer to the Blue Toon, his triumphs with the club and their League 2 championship win in 2013-14. He finishes by discussing his ambitions within the game.
