Episode 57: Andy Graham (Part Three)

The final installment of Andy Graham’s Pelé Podcast sees the big man looking back on the past three years of his career with Alloa Athletic.

Speaking with Craig G Telfer, Andy starts by reflecting on his decision to move to Recreation Park and reunite with Jack Ross, whom he worked with at Dumbarton. The defender talks about his manager and his replacement, Jim Goodwin, and how the team performed in the 2016/17 League 1, narrowly missing out on promotion via the play-offs.

Andy discusses how he used that disappointment to go one better the following year and their games with Raith Rovers and Dumbarton – a personal triumph given his relationship with Stevie Aitken. He then looks back on last year’s Championship survival and how his team outfoxed some of the division’s more fancied sides on the final day of the season.

Tell Him He's Pelé

If Tell Him He's Pelé were a boy band, they would probably be the much-missed One True Voice, both in terms of appearance and musical output.
