Bobby Barr joins Craig G Telfer on the latest episode of the Pelé Podcast to look back over his rollercoaster career. In the first of two parts, Bobby begins by talking about finding himself without a club before going back to where it all began: signing YTS forms with St Johnstone and cleaning Derek McInnes’ boots.
The winger then remembers his spell with Albion Rovers, which culminated in a bust-up with Paul Martin, and his subsequent seasons with Livingston, which yielded two championship medals. Bobby then talks about East Fife, where he worked under a manager who had “been places and dun hings”, his two years with Brechin City and his season at Greenock Morton.
One of the most recognisable faces in the lower leagues, Bobby’s interview is sure to interest casual and partisan supporters alike.
